Do you love coming on HBC trips? Are you starting to think you might have the skills to lead one yourself? Join seasoned bird guides and trip leaders Mark Johnson and David Webb at Swan Harbor Farm for a Bird Trip Leader Workshop. Learn tips on how to effectively point out birds and help everyone see them, manage large groups of birders of varying skill levels, and attend to the individual needs of your group members to the best of your ability. Leading bird trips can be challenging, and this workshop will help you on your way to becoming the best bird trip leader you can be. Limit 12 participants, RSVP required. We will meet at Swan Harbor at 9:00 AM. Participants are encouraged to bring note-taking materials if desired.
