Field trip to South Tract of Patuxent Research Refuge.

Description:

Easy walk on trails around Cash Lake for breeding season songbirds. Be prepared to walk up to 2 miles; wear sturdy shoes. Meet at 7:30 AM in the parking lot of the National Wildlife Visitor Center off Powder Mill Road; bear left on entering the parking area and go all the way to the last section of the lot past the covered solar recharging station for electric vehicles. Reservations not needed.
