Bird Camp – An Island of Connections
Sarah Witcher (MD DNR) & Katie Dell (Baltimore County Public Schools) will share with us their experiences at Hog Island, Maine, 2025. Sarah and Katie were privileged to receive scholarships from Audubon/MOS to attend the Hog Island Audubon Camp’s Field Ornithology course this past June. Come join in the journey that took them from casual naturalists to binocular-toting birders, forming connections that will carry them through their careers as environmental educators and scientists. Learn about this valuable travel and skill-building experience, or swap stories if you’ve been there yourselves. Spoiler alert- there will be puffins!
