Description:
“Filming birds in Australia and China”. Marty Brazeau, Community College of Baltimore County Birding class instructor, will share high-definition videos of birds from his recent trip to Australia. You will see colorful parrots and other birds filmed in Sydney, The Blue Mountains, The Great Ocean Road, and Tasmania. He will also share footage of birds filmed during his month-long stay on a Chinese farm assisting graduate students from Beijing Forestry University researching the nesting behavior of Black-throated and Silver-throated Bushtits. Marty will also humorously share top ten strategies related to getting good bird footage.
Biography: Marty is a former School Librarian and currently an academic advisor at the Community College of Baltimore County. Marty enjoys serving as a Costa Rica bird tour leader. He has visited that country 12 times to film birds. During his presentation he will also show a 5-minute video showing birds filmed in Costa Rica.
