Oregon Ridge is a good spot for thrushes, woodpeckers, and other passerines. The Center for Maryland Agriculture, just across Shawan Road, has a variety of open habitats; We will look here for sparrows. Paths are unpaved and can be muddy. Meet at the Oregon Ridge Park Nature Center. RSVP to leader required.
