Description:
Bring your kayak, canoe, or stand-up to ply the usually serene waters in the well-protected Mill Creek and historic Furnace Bay at the top of the Bay. These pristine, protected flat water sites make for a very enjoyable paddle and good birding. We will be in search of swimmers, divers and, of course, fliers, including migrating monarch butterflies. Bald Eagles and Osprey are often seen soaring overhead; song- birds and woodland birds frequent the shoreline; and waterfowl and heron are common sightings. Meet at Stumps Point at the far end of the Perryville Community Park.
