Description:
Bring your kayak, canoe or stand-up to ply the usually serene waters in the well-protected Mill Creek and historic Furnace Bay at the top of the Bay. These pristine, protected flat water sites make for a very enjoyable paddle and, hopefully, good birding. We will be in search of swimmers, divers and, of course, fliers. Bald Eagles and Osprey are often seen soaring overhead; songbirds and woodland birds frequent the shoreline; waterfowl and heron are common sightings; and hopefully swans will make an appearance. Meet at Stumps Point at the far end of the Perryville Community Park.
