Description:
Join us for a fun filled day of hiking and paddling! Starting with a hike along fields, forests and wetlands at Adkins Arboretum, we will then drive a short distance to the picnic area at Tuckahoe lake. You can bring your own boats or rent for $10 an hour. We plan to paddle for about 2 hours, through rich hardwood swamp where we are likely to get Wood Ducks, Prothonotary Warblers and other songbirds. Bring snacks and lunch! Please call to reserve your spot as there is a ten person limit for boaters. Meet at Bay 50 shopping center at 7:30 AM.
