Description:
This is a rare opportunity to join experienced birder Dr. Dave Larkin on a day trip to one of Delaware’s best-kept secrets, a beautiful preserve of over 10,000 acres on the shore of Delaware Bay. This is an important spot for migrating bird species and is home to 250 species either on a permanent basis or as visiting migrants. The refuge includes varied habitats and terrain including ponds, forests, woods, grasslands, and saltwater as well as freshwater marshes. All of which promise a variety of species.
