Virtual Meeting: Anne Arundel Bird Club

January 19, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Kojo Baidoo will speak on “Birding in the Age of COVID-19”.

The presentation, “Birding in the Age of COVID-19,” is exactly what it sounds like. It focuses on finding and appreciating local hotspots as opposed to traveling long distances to bird, which is more practical during the COVID-19 pandemic. After all, sometimes finding hidden gems closer to home feels more rewarding than the typical more popular locations that may be farther away. As you will hopefully come to know during the presentation, you never know what you might find!

Bio: Kojo Baidoo is a current freshman at Princeton University, planning to concentrate in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department. He has been interested in birds and nature for as long as he can remember and began seriously birding around six years old, adding photography to the mix in middle school.

Zoom meeting starts at 6:30, Presentation starts at 7pm
