Description:
Newest scenic birding location with a 1.9-mile level paved pathway loop around the lake. We should see neotropic passerines, migrating raptors and even a few shorebirds. Meet at the parking lot on Franklin Blvd. Limited to 10 participants. RSVP Leader Required. Be Prepared: Masks and Social Distancing May Be Required. *Directions to Quarry Place: From Baltimore Beltway I-695 outer loop (westbound), take Exit 19 Northwest Expy. (I-795) north for approximately 6 miles. Then take Exit 7B Franklin Blvd West, pass traffic signal, then first R into parking lot.
