Description:
We’ll cover a variety of habitats in Baltimore City’s second-largest park, including two lakes, fields and edges, and a large tract of old-growth forest. As well as a good mix of resident species, Druid Hill attracts a great variety of migrant songbirds and possibly early waterfowl in early October. The walk will total 5-6 miles of sometimes hilly terrain, mostly on grass or paved trails. Water and snacks are recommended. Meet at the park entrance on Swann Dr. RSVP required.
