Description:
Lynette Fullerton will lead a search at dusk in an attempt to see and hear the enchanting courtship display of American Woodcocks (aka Timberdoodles). Though woodcocks have declined in our region, Lynette knows a few spots where they still give their aerial wing-whistling display. Meet at 5:30 pm at the Governor Bridge Natural Area parking lot. Bring flashlight. Don’t be late – timing is important for the best opportunity of viewing the display.
