Tim Carney will speak on Birding at Port of Baltimore Facilities. The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Port Administration (MDOT MPA) offers birding opportunities at four of its dredged material containment facilities (DMCF) and restoration sites: Cox Creek, Masonville Cove, Hart-Miller Island, and Poplar Island. On March 1, 2016, Tim Carney presented access guidelines and birding highlights for all four sites to the Baltimore Bird Club. Tim will provide an update on the subsequent five years, including new access procedures, new breeding species, and other recent birding milestones.
