Calendar of Events

Leighann Cline, animal keeper at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute, will discuss her work. Leighann manages the loggerhead shrike breeding program at the SCBI, and she facilitates the transfer of each year’s offspring for release to Canada, where the shrike is endangered. She will talk with us about this special program and share data on the movements of some of the birds the SCBI has released.
