Description:
The mouth of the Piscataway Creek at the Potomac River is one of the best spots in PG County for wintering waterfowl and gulls. Bring scopes and snacks. The fishing area is gravel-surfaced; birding will be near the parked cars and would be wheelchair-accessible. There may also be a short stroll for landbirds on a section of the paved road. Opportunities for side-trips to other parts of the park afterward. Reservations not needed. Meet at the fishing area at north end of Wharf Road at 8 AM.
